ANALYSIS: A top-25 caliber team, Florida State will almost certainly present a challenging task for any Division I opponent. Carrying a record of 26-5, they are currently rated #14 overall (out of 353) in All-Play Percentage this season. Of the 15 schools in the ACC (average ranking 69.6), they're currently ranked as our #3 team in the conference.
The Florida State defense will be extremely problematic for most opposing offenses. Allowing about 89 points for every 100 possessions vs. AO, the club is ranked 19th overall in defensive efficiency. Florida State does a really good job to prevent opponents from getting off shots from the field.
