Of the nine schools in the America East (average ranking 226.4), they're currently ranked as our #2 team in the conference.

The team will take a fair amount of shots from those in-between locations, too. Approximately 33.3% of their attempts vs. AO are of the mid-range variety, which puts the team in the top-75 in that category nationally. Albany also does a really good job converting from the free throw line. Making 75.7% of their attempts from the stripe, they are ranked 34th nationally in free throw percentage.
Albany is also a fairly decent team on the defensive end of the court. The team ranks 173rd nationally in defensive efficiency, allowing about 102 points every 100 trips upcourt vs. AO. They have a rating of 12.52 vs. AO in potential points allowed off of second chances (ranked 37th in the country).
Albany has been playing better basketball in their most recent outings, as evidenced by the team's #47 ranking in positive momentum.
Projections are based on present-day ratings. Stars indicate games played at a neutral location. Game efficiencies only account for data before a contest has gone analytically final and are adjusted to extract home-court advantage.
