ANALYSIS:
South Carolina is a fairly decent basketball team that, while likely better than average, isn't quite good enough to crack any top-25 rankings this year. They are ranked #123 (out of 357) in the most recent Haslametrics ratings and have a record of 6-15. Of the 14 schools in the SEC (average ranking 61.5), they're currently ranked as our #13 team in the conference. Sporting a strength-of-schedule rating of 0.792 (the 20th-highest in the country), South Carolina has prepared themselves by challenging some of the best teams in the college game.

Based on their performances this year, South Carolina will likely find more success on defense than they will on offense.
