When listing some of the better squads you will find in NCAA basketball this year, one can definitely make a case for Baylor. Ranked 18th overall (out of 351) in our most recent ratings, they presently have a record of 24-10. Of the 10 schools in the Big 12 (average ranking 42.3), they're currently ranked as our #4 team in the conference. Sporting a strength-of-schedule rating of 0.736 (the seventh-highest in the country), Baylor has prepared themselves by challenging some of the best teams in the college game.

Baylor will suffocate most opponents with its stifling defense. Allowing roughly 90 points for every 100 possessions vs. AO, this squad is rated #16 in defensive efficiency. Baylor does an outstanding job shutting down the opposition from behind the arc.
