ANALYSIS:
Ole Miss has a fairly solid squad that likely falls within the top quartile of all teams in college basketball this year. Ranked 46th overall (out of 351) in our most recent ratings, they presently have a record of 21-13. Of the 14 schools in the SEC (average ranking 69.2), they're currently ranked as our #6 team in the conference.

Ole Miss has a reasonably potent offensive attack. Occupying the #29 slot in our offensive efficiency rankings, they will score about 110 points for every 100 trips upcourt vs. AO. Ole Miss is deadly accurate at the free throw line. Making 77.6% of their attempts from the stripe, they are ranked fifth nationally in free throw percentage. Moreover, they get ample opportunity to beat you from the line, as the ball-club falls in the top-100 in free throw attempt rate with a rating of 31.12 vs. AO. Ole Miss also allows very few breakaway opportunities for the opposition, which typically translates to fewer turnovers. The team's rating vs. AO for potential breakaway points allowed off of steals is 8.59, which ranks #13 in the country. Ole Miss is lastly one of the very best when it comes to maximizing field goal opportunities. The team is ranked 22nd in the NCAA in offensive field goal attempt rate with a rating of 86.26 vs. AO. As far as making those field goal attempts goes, the team is somewhat middle-of-the-road, converting about 44.4% of them vs. AO.

Ole Miss is also a fairly decent team on the defensive end of the court. The team ranks 85th nationally in defensive efficiency, allowing about 96 points every 100 trips upcourt vs. AO. Ole Miss does a bang-up job preventing the opposition from draining jumpers in between the three-point line and the low post.
