ANALYSIS:
They're far from the worst of the worst, but UMKC should not be a terribly frightening opponent for most clubs. Carrying a record of 11-21, they are currently rated #253 overall (out of 353) in All-Play Percentage this season. They are also ranked by this site as the #8 team (out of nine) in the WAC (average ranking 177.9).

UMKC does not have a terribly exceptional defense this year. Rated at #252 in defensive efficiency, they allow around 108 points every 100 possessions vs. AO. UMKC does not stand out in a positive manner when they're asked to defend in the paint. The team is ranked 290th in the country in defensive near-proximity percentage, allowing AO to make good on 63.8% of their attempts from close-up. If UMKC does have a bright spot on defense, it would have to be their willingness to take risks in order to score fast points off of steals. CURIOUS TRENDS:

	When playing teams that aren't terribly skilled defensively, UMKC usually performs better than average.
